The PTA strives to bring the Scholastic Book Fair to the BIES community twice a year. The operation can be arduous, often with long afternoons setting up the library, and chaotic lunches shuttling kids through fast enough so that they have enough time left to eat (sign up to volunteer here!). But we greatly believe in the cause. Book fairs are more than just a chance to buy books—they’re a celebration of reading, imagination, and lifelong learning. They spark excitement in children, help build home libraries, and foster a love for stories that can last a lifetime. Every purchase also supports our library and librarian, Ms. Ritu, making it a win for students, families, and our entire community.
